The lake house is on the western shore of Lake Viljandi, with its own jetty leading from the garden straight into the water. A rowing boat and two kayaks come with the house, so you can be out on the lake right after morning coffee. Downstairs there is a living room with a big window facing the lake, the kitchen and a sauna; upstairs are three bedrooms. The terrace has a grill and a large table. After the sauna you can walk straight into the lake for a swim. Viljandi Old Town and the castle hills are ten minutes away by bike. The folk music festival takes place in town in July, so book early if you plan to come then.
